Alaffia Facial Serums

It's amazing how much simpler my whole beauty routine looks than it was a year ago. Being busy on a whole new level certainly takes up some of time that used to be allotted to skincare and makeup rituals. That said, I do manage to get mascara, powder foundation and eye brow cream on my face on most days, and of course that needs to come off at night. That's where these Alaffia Facial Serums ($9.95 each for 0.5 oz) come in.

Weleda Creamy Body Wash

It's been way too long since I've updated my blog! I have the typical excuse of being really busy, and I've also been keeping beauty purchases to a minimum. I've been laser focused on cooking and healthy lifestyle stuff in my limited free time, so right now I'm more likely to order snacks and protein powder from iHerb than my usual beauty hauls. Since I'm not experimenting a lot right now with skincare or makeup, I love trying out new bath products. I keep my cabinet stocked full of soaps, shampoos and body wash. Of the oodles I've tested in the past few months, Weleda Creamy Body Wash ($9.22 for 7.2 oz) has become a firm favorite.

YÜLI Skincare Panacea Elixir

After I finished my first block of exams in September, I wanted to treat myself to something extra special. YÜLI is a luxury green skincare line that has received about as much hype as any green beauty brand I've ever come across, so it seemed to fit the bill. I decided to give their Panacea Elixir ($68 for 3.4 oz) a go because the fresh, pure, organic ingredients list drew me in, and it's made to calm skin and treat breakouts.

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream

Finding the perfect, holy grail natural deodorant truly is hard. I must admit, after over 4 years of blogging, I still haven't found that end all to be all product. But facing down a humid, stink-inducing summer in the south, I purchased all three Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Creams ($14 each for 2.4 oz) earlier this year to try out.
