If you follow the green beauty blogosphere at all, you have heard about Schmidt's Deodorant* ($9 for 2 oz). I was super excited to try out this brand, because they are all about creating safe, effective products that come in amazing scents and have a luxurious feel. They're also based in my hometown of Portland, OR, where many amazing natural products are made, so I had a hunch this would offer something special.

Deep Steep makes some of my absolute favorite body products, so I knew I would eventually check out their line of haircare when it came out last year. The line includes shampoos and conditioners that come in four different varieties: Nourishing Volume, Weightless Moisture, Daily Repairing and Glossy Smoothing. I opted for Glossy Smoothing Shampoo and Conditoner ($8.29 each for 2 oz) because, well, that was what was in stock at the time on Vitacost.

I have been sitting on a post about Marie Veronique Treatment Oil ($80 for 1 oz) for several months. This product is so good, it's hard to know where to start. It's a facial oil meant for acne-prone skin, and in short, it has changed my skin.

Now that I've shared the massive stash of products were used up in the past couple of months, it's time to share the products I've been reaching for frequently in May. This month's favorites are mostly makeup, with a lip balm, a multipurpose soap, and a hair product thrown in for good measure.
