iHerb Haul #1

I've decided to start incorporating hauls into my blog, and it seems fitting that I start with a haul from one of my most frequently used websites: They have a massive selection of natural products at discounted prices, and best of all, a $20 threshold for free shipping in the U.S. Here's what I picked up in my latest haul.

I've been trying out several new deodorant products lately, and I've found one that is a definite standout. It's called FreshBod($7.99 for 2 oz), and it's a unique, unscented deodorant spray. The simple formula contains five ingredients: colloidal silver, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, magnesium sulfate and purified water. These components work together to kill odor-causing bacteria and keep your pits stink-free.

True Nature Botanicals Noble Citrus Solid Perfume

True Nature Botanicals is a new company that's making an impact with a gorgeous line of solid perfumes. These products are far from your typical natural fragrance; the line was formulated by highly experienced perfumers at one of the oldest and most respected fragrance houses in France. The scents are completely natural and composed of “noble materials” — the most pure and precious ingredients that can be found. I received samples of the three scents they offer in the mail, and pretty much instantly fell for the Noble Citrus Solid Perfume* ($95). It's unlike any natural fragrance I've smelled before.

Odylique Gentle Herb Shampoo

When I heard that Odylique was now available in the U.S., the first thing I knew I needed to try was the Gentle Herb Shampoo* ($20 for 6.8 oz). This shampoo has been on my radar for quite a while, as my fellow blogger Sugarpuffish has repeatedly listed this as one of her go-to hair care products. I had even considered ordering this shampoo from across the pond at one point.

Aubrey Organics deodorants: an overview

If you shop frequently on vitamin sites or pass through the beauty aisles of natural grocery stores, these products will likely look familiar to you. Aubrey Organics is fairly easy to find, and their starkly simple packaging is pretty unique. I've been wanting to delve in and try more from this brand, and their deodorants were very appealing to me. I tested all three products out from this line: the Calendula Blossom Natural Deodorant Spray, the E Plus High C Roll-On Deodorant and the Men's Stock Natural Dry Herbal Pine Deodorant. For me, these have always been products I was curious about, but just hadn't gotten on to trying yet.

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo + Conditioner

Though I have a couple tried and true favorites (Alaffia + Acure), I'm always looking to discover new haircare gems. Aubrey Organics is affordable and ubiquitous in natural stores and online sites, so I decided to try out their Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo ($8.91 for 11 oz) and Conditioner ($9.29 for 11 oz).

Giovanni Powder Power Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is an important part of my haircare routine, and I searching around Vitacost for a new one when I found Giovanni Powder Power Dry Shampoo ($6.99 for 1.7 oz). Most of this brand's products do not have ingredients that are clean enough for my standards, but I was pleasantly surprised when I found this product had a pretty natural ingredients list.

Earth Mama Angel Baby

I always get excited to share natural brands that are easy to find, so I was happy to have the chance to review products from Earth Mama Angel BabyThis brand can be found all over the country at Target stores and Walgreens, so it's pretty accessible. Designed specifically for mothers and their babies, this line is a great idea because there are many essential oils and natural ingredients that are not safe for pregnant women and babies. I don't fit into either of the target demographics for this line, but always love trying safe, natural products with great ingredients. I picked out three products from the mama side of the brand to test out, and here are my thoughts on each product:

Odylique Lemon Butter Hand Smoothie

I was so excited last month when an email landed in my inbox announcing that Odylique was coming to the U.S. This brand, formerly known as Essential Care, has been on my radar for ages, thanks to many U.K. green beauty bloggers (Sugarpuffish in particular). Now that they're over here, I can finally try out their products for myself. I have a couple products to review, but today I'm starting out with the Lemon Butter Hand Smoothie* ($25 for 2 oz). This moisturizing treat came just as the temperature was dropping, and my hands were starting to get traces of dryness.
